UNICEF World Children’s Day 2021 campaign

This year, UNICEF gave me the chance to work on this years World Children’s Day campaign which will celebrate UNICEF Youth Advocates by making illustrated portraits of them. These illustrations will tell the story of these advocates journey to accompany the story.


Penelope | 16 | Norway

Penelope is a Norwegian climate activist who became the second-youngest ambassador for UNICEF at the age of 15.

Chef Omar |16 | Morocco

Omar Archane, who also goes by Chef Omar, is the youngest influencer chef in Morocco. Suffering from his early years from muscular dystrophy, which causes muscle weakness, and being wheelchair bound, he has been able to transform his disability into strength and has proven his ability to spread a culture of love and resilience.

Victoria |16 | Ukraine

Ukrainian advocate working with UNICEF on promoting child participation and child rights at the municipal level as a Child Mayor of one of the largest Ukrainian cities. Victoria participated in the Parliament Takeover in 2019, and she is now helping UNICEF Ukraine promote mental health topics among youth.

Jessica Gnamien | 15 | Cote D’Ivoire

Jessica is a young influencer that loves to defend the rights of children. She takes great joy in fighting for justice for people whose rights are not respected.
